There are many resources latently hidden in the working environment. The good working environment can:

• Create a more efficient and flexibly collaborative workplace.
• Attracts new employees
• Strengthens employees' attachment to the workplace, so that they stay and do not leave the workplace.

Whether you are part of the occupational health and safety organization or not, , you have a responsibility in the working environment at your workplace, if you are a manager.The working environment should be a small part of all management work. When the manager plans the work, the strains of work loads are also planned. Since much planning and management is distributed in modern organizations, one of the ways the manager can really have a clear sense of your work environment, and exercise real leadership is by being concerned with the working environment at the workplace.There are several strategic measures the manager can take:

• The annual working environment discussion can be used as a strategic leadership tool.
• You can have a vision and a joint discussion of what kind of culture you want in the workplace. (Leading visionary is, by the way supported by Danish research.
